The wheels of Tommaso Imola is not friendly enough for heavy people. Replace it if you require. No stupid light wheels and at least have 32 spokes, maybe 36.
On the whole, road bikes are still serving for professional riders. You can pick up a cheap bike for value though because of the drop in technology.
